Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant to the CIO who will act as a strategic partner and operational coordinator. In this role, you will work closely with the CIO and collaborate with a Software Technology Center and nine subsidiary companies. A key focus will be supporting AI-driven and innovation-focused projects aimed at delivering breakthrough solutions with a positive societal impact.
The ideal candidate is passionate about digital transformation and emerging technologies, particularly Artificial Intelligence and advanced analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Coordination & Reporting
• Gather, consolidate, and analyze information from the Software Technology Center and nine subsidiaries regarding ongoing AI and innovation projects, providing regular reports to the CIO.
• Work with managers and cross-functional teams to track project milestones, resolve roadblocks, and propose actionable solutions leveraging cutting-edge AI methodologies.
• Attend high-level strategic meetings on innovation, capture key insights, and document action items to ensure effective follow-up.
AI & Innovation Project Support
• Assist the CIO in identifying and evaluating AI solutions that enhance operational efficiency, predictive analytics, and new business opportunities.
• Coordinate meetings with data scientists, AI engineers, and stakeholders to gather technical requirements, assess feasibility, and align resources.
• Stay updated on global AI trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, compiling research summaries to inform decision-making and innovation strategies.
Communications & Stakeholder Management
• Serve as a key communication bridge between the CIO and internal/external partners, including startups, research institutes, and technology solution providers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams to enhance collaboration, knowledge sharing, and information flow.
• Manage agreements, Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs), and legal documentation for AI partnerships and innovation initiatives.
Project Planning & Management
• Organize and manage the CIO’s calendar, particularly for AI symposiums, tech conferences, innovation roundtables, and strategy sessions.
• Ensure timely preparation of background materials, project briefs, and status updates, enabling the CIO to make well-informed decisions.
• Maintain structured reporting for AI pilot projects, Proofs of Concept (PoCs), and related innovation programs.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in project coordination, executive assistance, or program management, preferably with exposure to technology, AI, or digital innovation.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and foundational AI/ML concepts. Exposure to data analytics, cloud computing, or automation tools is a plus.
• Language Proficiency: Excellent English communication skills (spoken, written, and presentation). Proficiency in Chinese is a strong advantage.
• Competencies: Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana) is preferred.
